Project Overview

The Yuma County Health Services Design Build was a $27 million expansion, renovation, and additions project undertaken for Yuma County, Arizona. The project encompassed the expansion and renovation of existing public health facilities, adding new program spaces to meet the county's evolving service needs. With a complex scope spanning multiple building systems and program types, communicating the project's full depth required a cohesive, visually compelling pursuit package. PRESWERX delivered proposal writing, presentation development, coaching, renderings, animations, and films that gave the client's team the tools they needed to present with clarity and confidence.

Client Challenges

The client entered a competitive design-build pursuit with a large and technically complex scope, facing four interconnected challenges:

  • Communicating an expansion and renovation spanning multiple health service programs as a single, cohesive project story

  • Visualizing design quality for a public health facility before construction, without finished design drawings to rely on

  • Differentiating the team's qualifications and approach in a process where multiple experienced contractors were competing

  • Preparing leadership to deliver a focused, consistent presentation under evaluation conditions

Meeting all four of these demands required a pursuit package that worked at every stage, from the written proposal through the final interview.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX produced a full-scope pursuit package for the Yuma County Health Services Design Build, building each deliverable around the project's specific programmatic and competitive demands. The proposal translated a complex, multi-program expansion and renovation into a clear, evaluator-ready narrative. Custom renderings brought the design to life, giving the selection committee a vivid preview of the finished facility. Animations extended that visual story by showing how the building's systems and spaces would function together. Short-form films added depth to the team's qualifications narrative. Presentation coaching prepared the client's leadership to deliver with confidence in front of the evaluation panel.

PRESWERX Approach

PRESWERX treated this pursuit as an integrated storytelling problem, not a collection of individual deliverables. Each asset was built to reinforce the others, so the committee experienced a consistent narrative from proposal through presentation.

  • The proposal structure was built around the county's evaluation priorities, translating the client's technical depth into clear, decision-ready language

  • Renderings and animations were scripted to emphasize program adjacencies and community-facing spaces, not just aesthetics

  • Presentation coaching focused on speaker consistency and message clarity, helping the team rehearse under conditions that mirrored the actual evaluation format

The result was a client team that entered the selection fully prepared, with a unified message and materials that reinforced it at every stage.

Results Delivered

PRESWERX delivered a comprehensive, visually cohesive pursuit package for a $27 million public health project in a competitive design-build environment.

  • The proposal gave the selection committee a thorough, readable account of the team's approach, directly addressing the county's stated priorities

  • Renderings and animations gave evaluators a compelling preview of the facility, making the project's scale and design quality tangible before construction began

  • Presentation coaching produced a team that delivered a disciplined, consistent message in the evaluation room

The client entered the selection with the strongest version of their story clearly told and ready to land.
