Project Overview
The Wellen Park High School project in North Port, Florida delivered a new, purposebuilt high school campus for Sarasota County School District. The $200,000,000 project encompasses approximately 320,000 square feet of new building area, complemented by a comprehensive athletics complex including a synthetic turf football field, nine-lane running track, volleyball, basketball, and tennis courts, practice soccer fields, baseball and softball fields, and stadium bleachers. The project gives the district a full-featured campus built from the ground up to serve a growing community. The client engaged PRESWERX to develop renderings and animations in support of the competitive pursuit.
Client Challenges
The client needed imagery where a new 320,000 SF campus could communicate academic quality and athletic ambition at once:
A campus with full school buildings and a comprehensive athletics complex required visuals that conveyed the scope of a ground-up investment.
A $200M project in a fast-growing community required renderings that positioned the school as a destination campus for the district.
A district evaluating a major new build needed animations and renderings that made the full campus feel complete and well-considered.
Together, these called for a package that matched the ambition of a $200M ground-up school campus.
Scope of Work
PRESWERX produced renderings and animations for Wellen Park High School in North Port, Florida. The renderings depicted the new campus across its approximately 320,000 square feet of building area, capturing the academic facilities alongside the full athletics complex, including the synthetic turf football field, nine-lane running track, multi-sport courts, baseball and softball fields, and stadium bleachers. Animations brought the completed campus to life, giving Sarasota County School District's evaluation team a dynamic view of how the new school would look and feel as a finished, active campus. All deliverables were calibrated to support the competitive submission.
