Project Overview

A $13,300,000 science addition at Southeast High School in Bradenton, Florida transformed the campus with a new, purpose-built academic building designed to serve the school's science and arts programs. Completed in three phases, the project began with early site preparation and portable relocation, then delivered a new 24,130-squarefoot, two-story building centrally located on campus, housing 12 classrooms and labs spanning chemistry, biology, environmental science, physics, digital art, and practical art. The final phase completed the campus transformation with demolition of the remaining original building and a new central courtyard. The client engaged PRESWERX to develop presentation materials, renderings, animations, and coaching.

Client Challenges

Pursuing a three-phase science addition for a public high school required the client to communicate a phased campus transformation alongside the quality of the finished building:

  • Visualizing a 24,130 SF building with specialized lab spaces for chemistry, biology, environmental science, physics, and arts before construction began.

  • Communicating a phased approach that balanced active campus operations with demolition, new construction, and sitework across three sequential phases.

  • Differentiating the team for a public school district owner in a competitive K-12 procurement.

The client needed materials that captured both the finished product and the care taken in getting there.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX developed a full pursuit package for the Southeast High School Science Addition, producing renderings and animations that brought the new two-story classroom and lab building to life before construction began. Visual deliverables captured the building's central placement on campus, its exterior character, and the specialized interior lab and classroom spaces within. PRESWERX also built and refined a pursuit presentation that organized the three-phase program into a clear, compelling narrative for the Manatee County School District. Coaching sessions prepared the client's team to deliver that narrative with confidence and precision in the live selection interview.

PRESWERX Approach

PRESWERX built materials that addressed two distinct stories: the quality of the finished science building, and the discipline of a three-phase approach on an active high school campus. The team addressed three priorities:

  • Producing renderings and animations that communicated the building's design quality and its specialized lab and classroom environments.

  • Structuring the presentation to give the school district confidence in the team's phasing strategy and campus awareness.

  • Coaching presenters to deliver with authority and clarity to a public school district audience.

The result was a pursuit package that reflected both the technical rigor and the campus sensitivity the project demanded.

Results Delivered

PRESWERX delivered a complete pursuit package calibrated to the expectations of a competitive public school procurement:

  • Renderings and animations gave the Manatee County School District a clear picture of the new science building's exterior character and specialized interior environments before construction began.

  • The presentation organized a complex, three-phase program into a confident narrative the district could evaluate from site sequencing through finished campus design.

  • Coaching sessions prepared the client's team to deliver with precision and confidence in the live selection interview.

The client entered the selection with materials that accurately reflected the scope and quality of their approach.
