Project Overview
The Sarasota High School Buildings 13 and 14 renovation covered a comprehensive, phased renovation of two academic buildings on an active campus, procured by the School Board of Sarasota County as a construction manager at risk project. The $37.5 million scope spanned electrical, mechanical, and plumbing upgrades, partial casework and door replacement, new flooring, paint, and ceilings, restroom renovations, a new chilled water pipe system, 700 tons of new cooling, and site restoration, all while displaced students and staff relocated into portable classrooms. Competing under Florida's statutory selection process required a presentation that proved command of both the technical scope and the logistics of building around students. PRESWERX developed the pursuit presentation, renderings, and animations, and coached the team for its selection interview.

Client Challenges
Competing for a $37.5 million construction manager at risk selection under Florida's public procurement statute meant answering the school board's priorities directly:
Explaining a dense, multi-system renovation scope in terms a school board could evaluate quickly.
Showing how construction would proceed around students and staff relocated into portable classrooms.
Standing out in a formal, statute-driven selection process against other qualified firms.
Meeting each of these head on was essential to a presentation the board could evaluate with confidence.

Scope of Work
PRESWERX built the full pursuit presentation for the selection interview, organizing the electrical, mechanical, and plumbing upgrades, casework and door replacement, new flooring and ceilings, restroom renovations, chilled water pipe replacement, and 700 tons of new cooling into one clear renovation story. The team produced renderings and animations illustrating the phased work across Buildings 13 and 14 and the relocation of students and staff into portable classrooms during construction. PRESWERX then coached the presentation team through structured rehearsals, sharpening delivery and preparing responses to the technical and logistical questions the selection committee was likely to raise.

PRESWERX Approach
With a formal public selection process and a long technical scope, the presentation needed to be both clear and persuasive:
Organized a dense, multi-system renovation scope into a narrative the board could follow easily.
Built renderings and animations that showed the phased renovation and portable classroom relocation plan.
Coached the team through multiple rehearsals to sharpen pacing and Q&A readiness for the selection interview.
The approach gave the team a presentation built to hold up under a formal selection process.
Results Delivered
PRESWERX delivered a presentation package built to the standard of a formal, statutedriven school board selection:
A clear narrative that made a dense, multi-system renovation scope easy for the board to follow.
Renderings and animations that showed the phased work and the portable classroom relocation plan.
A rehearsed team ready to answer detailed technical and logistical questions in the selection interview.
The client's team walked into the interview with a complete, well rehearsed case for the project.
