Project Overview
The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office Headquarters Addition and Renovation was a $56 million public safety campus project in Fruitville, Florida. The project encompassed approximately 60,000 square feet of new construction alongside the comprehensive renovation and reorganization of an existing 72,820-square-foot office facility, with the campus layout designed to maximize the Sheriff's Office operations and construction cost efficiency. Communicating the scale and complexity of this phased program to the county owner required a purposeful pursuit strategy. The client engaged PRESWERX to lead proposal development, produce visualizations, and prepare the team for the live selection interview.

Client Challenges
Communicating a $56 million public safety project to a county owner required more than technical expertise. The client faced several compounding pursuit challenges:
The combined scope of 60,000 SF of new construction and the renovation of an existing 72,820 SF facility needed to read as one unified campus vision, not two disconnected efforts.
The procuring agency required compelling visualizations of design quality and space reorganization before any construction had begun.
A competitive public procurement process demanded clear team differentiation and a polished, confident live presentation.
Together, these demands called for a pursuit strategy that was both visually strong and narratively precise.

Scope of Work
PRESWERX developed a comprehensive pursuit package to support the client's bid for this complex public safety project. The team produced a fully designed proposal that organized the project narrative around the phased addition and renovation program, making the scope accessible to a non-technical county audience. Custom renderings and animations illustrated the campus vision and the reorganization of existing space, translating design intent into clear, compelling visuals. A series of pursuit films further communicated the client team's qualifications and approach to the project. PRESWERX also led dedicated presentation coaching sessions to prepare the client's team for a live interview before the selection committee.

PRESWERX Approach
PRESWERX approached this engagement as a storytelling challenge, building every deliverable around the goal of making a complex campus scope feel clear and achievable:
The team developed a proposal narrative that framed the addition and renovation as a single, coordinated campus strategy, rather than two separate scopes of work.
Renderings and animations were tailored to the Sheriff's Office program, emphasizing operational flow, spatial clarity, and the relationship between the existing building and new construction.
Presentation coaching prepared the client's team to communicate the project vision confidently, ensuring every key message was clear and well-delivered before the interview.
The result was a cohesive pursuit package that clearly conveyed the client's capability, preparation, and vision for the project.
Results Delivered
PRESWERX delivered a full pursuit package held to a high standard of visual quality and narrative clarity across every deliverable:
The proposal presented a unified campus vision, translating a complex dual-scope program into a compelling, reader-friendly document that communicated both ambition and feasibility.
Renderings, animations, and films gave the county owner a vivid picture of the finished campus, building confidence in the team's design approach and project understanding.
Presentation coaching left the client's team fully prepared for the live interview, aligned on messaging, and ready to answer committee questions with authority.
The client entered the final selection backed by a complete, polished pursuit package and a team that was thoroughly prepared to compete.
