Project Overview

The Progressive Field Ballpark Improvement Project was a $25.9 million fan experience upgrade for the Cleveland Guardians in Cleveland, Ohio. The project encompassed a range of enhancements designed to modernize the ballpark and deepen fan engagement, including improved sightlines to the city skyline and the playing field, new connections between the upper and lower decks, expanded social and dining areas, and activation of underutilized spaces throughout the stadium. The client engaged PRESWERX to develop renderings, animations, and a coached interview presentation for the selection.

Client Challenges

The client needed to communicate a fan experience transformation at a major league ballpark in a competitive live interview, supported by compelling visuals:

  • Visualizing enhancements including new sightlines, upper-to-lower deck connections, and social gathering spaces in a way that captured the energy of the finished ballpark.

  • Demonstrating a credible approach to working within an active, high-profile stadium without disrupting team or fan operations during construction.

  • Differentiating the team with a polished, well-prepared interview presentation backed by renderings and animations.

The pursuit required strong visual materials and a team ready to deliver them with the confidence a major league owner expected.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX delivered a comprehensive pursuit package for the Cleveland Guardians' selection, combining photorealistic renderings, animations, a structured interview presentation, and coaching for the client's team. The renderings and animations captured the upgraded ballpark experience, depicting improved sightlines, the new deck connections, expanded social spaces, and activated areas throughout the stadium. The interview presentation organized the team's qualifications and approach into a clear, evaluator-ready narrative for a sports owner audience. Coaching sessions prepared the team to deliver the material with confidence and engage the selection panel with precision.

PRESWERX Approach

PRESWERX treated the engagement as a fan experience storytelling challenge, building visuals and presentation materials that conveyed the ballpark's transformation as a unified vision.

  • Produced renderings and animations capturing the upgraded sightlines, social spaces, and deck connections as a cohesive fan experience rather than a list of construction upgrades.

  • Structured the interview presentation around the client's understanding of the ballpark's identity and their approach to enhancing it.

  • Coached the team to deliver with confidence and connect with a sports owner audience focused on outcomes.

The result was a pursuit package built for both the selection's technical demands and the expectations of a major league owner.

Results Delivered

PRESWERX delivered a full pursuit package spanning renderings, animations, and a coached interview presentation.

  • Renderings and animations brought the fan experience enhancements to life, giving the owner a vivid picture of the upgraded ballpark before construction began.

  • The interview presentation gave the client a structured narrative that communicated both technical capability and a genuine understanding of the ballpark's identity.

  • Coaching prepared the team to perform confidently in a live selection with a major league owner.

The client entered the selection with a polished, integrated package that matched the ambition of the project.
