Project Overview
Parrish Community Park was a $16.9 million public recreation project developed for Manatee County across 11.5 acres in Bradenton, Florida. Located along the newly extended Ft. Hamer Road near Parrish Community High School, the park encompassed a wooden boardwalk, splash pad, playgrounds, picnic shelters, a performance pavilion, and a 120-foot by 120-foot shade structure and event lawn sized for festivals and large community gatherings. A public swimming facility, featuring a competitive lap pool and a shallow play pool with water features, added depth to the park's programming. The client engaged PRESWERX to develop presentation materials and visual assets for the competitive selection process.

Client Challenges
The park's broad amenity mix and community-scale programming made communicating scope a central challenge for the pursuit team:
The project's 11.5-acre site incorporated a diverse range of uses, from competitive aquatics to community events, requiring a single cohesive pursuit narrative.
Design concepts existed at the rendering stage, meaning the selection panel would need to visualize a fully realized park before any construction began.
The competitive bid environment demanded materials capable of differentiating the team and making a strong impression during the live interview.
Every element of the pursuit called for a coordinated visual and verbal story that matched the scale and ambition of the project.

Scope of Work
PRESWERX produced a full suite of pursuit materials tailored to the Parrish Community Park selection. Architectural renderings brought the park's key features to life, including the performance pavilion, splash pad, shade structure, and aquatic facility, giving the selection panel a clear picture of the finished environment. Animations added motion and context to the static imagery, helping communicate how community members would move through and experience the 11.5-acre site. PRESWERX also built the client's selection presentation and provided direct coaching to the presentation team, sharpening their delivery ahead of the live interview.

PRESWERX Approach
PRESWERX approached the Parrish Community Park pursuit as a storytelling challenge: the goal was to turn a broad mix of amenities into a compelling, unified case for the team's vision.
Developed custom renderings of the park's signature features, from the 120-foot shade structure to the competitive lap pool, grounding the selection panel's understanding of the design.
Produced animations that placed each amenity in context, illustrating how the spaces would serve community events, competitive recreation, and everyday use.
Coached the client's presentation team directly, translating the visual package into a confident, well-paced live delivery.
The client arrived at the selection interview with a coherent story, sharp visuals, and the rehearsed delivery to support them.
Results Delivered
PRESWERX delivered a complete pursuit package built to the standard of a competitive, visually sophisticated presentation.
Renderings gave the client high-quality imagery of the park's most distinctive features, eliminating ambiguity around scope and design intent for the selection panel.
Animations provided a dynamic view of how the site would function, making the project tangible for evaluators reviewing the design before construction.
Presentation coaching sharpened the team's delivery, ensuring the visual package was backed by a polished, well-prepared interview performance.
The client entered the selection process with a complete, professional package and the confidence to present it effectively.
