Project Overview
Osceola Middle School has anchored its Ocala, Florida community since 1925, with a 10.97-acre campus spanning approximately 98,256 square feet across eight permanent structures and nine relocatable units. The original gymnasium, built in 1937 and modified over the decades, was closed after a structural evaluation determined it was no longer safe for use. Marion County Public Schools moved to demolish the compromised facility and construct a new gymnasium in its place. The client engaged PRESWERX to develop the proposal, build a selection presentation, and coach the team through the pursuit.

Client Challenges
The client needed to build a compelling pursuit package for a school district replacement project evaluated against competitive procurement criteria:
Articulating the urgency and rationale for replacing a structurally compromised gymnasium on a historic campus
Differentiating their team and approach in a competitive public-sector procurement
Translating a demolition-and-new-construction scope into a narrative accessible to a non-technical review panel
Preparing the team to deliver a live selection interview with confidence and message discipline
Together, these challenges demanded materials that were technically credible and immediately understandable to district evaluators.

Scope of Work
PRESWERX produced a complete pursuit package for the Osceola Middle School New Gymnasium project. The team developed a structured proposal organized around the client's relevant experience and approach to the demolition and new construction scope, tailored to Marion County Public Schools' procurement expectations. PRESWERX then built a selection presentation designed to carry evaluators through the project story in a clear, accessible sequence, connecting the structural findings that triggered the project to the client's plan for delivering a modern replacement facility. Presentation coaching sessions rounded out the engagement, preparing the client's team to communicate their approach with precision during the interview.

PRESWERX Approach
PRESWERX approached the pursuit as a clarity challenge, turning a technically driven project into a story a school district panel could quickly follow.
Organized the proposal around the structural findings that made replacement necessary, positioning the client as prepared for both the demolition complexity and the new construction scope
Built presentation materials that moved evaluators through the project rationale, team qualifications, and approach in a clear visual sequence
Coached the team on message focus and question handling ahead of the live interview
The client entered the selection with a clear, rehearsed story and the confidence to tell it.
Results Delivered
PRESWERX delivered a complete pursuit package calibrated to the expectations of a competitive public education procurement.
The proposal organized the client's qualifications and construction approach into a focused document structured around the district's evaluation criteria
The presentation gave evaluators a clear visual path through a complex scope, making the case for the client's approach in accessible terms
Coaching sessions prepared the team to deliver with precision, handling the live interview with confidence and message consistency
The client's team went into the selection ready to make a strong, cohesive impression.
