Project Overview

Marion County Public Schools sought to deliver two new elementary schools on separate sites simultaneously, each adapted from an existing prototype design to meet current building codes, local preferences, and unique site conditions. The scope called for a single design partner capable of unifying both schools under one cohesive delivery approach. To support its pursuit of this work, the client engaged PRESWERX to develop a full suite of pursuit materials that would communicate the complexity of a dual-site program as one clear, controlled story. PRESWERX provided a proposal, a presentation, presentation coaching, renderings, and animations in support of the selection effort.

Client Challenges

Competing for a dual-site school program meant translating significant scope and logistical complexity into a story that felt clear, confident, and well-organized. The client faced several key challenges:

  • Framing two simultaneous projects as one cohesive, manageable delivery strategy for district evaluators

  • Transforming a prototype-based school design into visuals that felt specific and responsive to each site

  • Differentiating the team in a competitive selection process against firms with comparable experience

  • Preparing presenters for a live interview with Marion County decision-makers

Each challenge required precise, coordinated storytelling across every element of the submission.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX developed a full pursuit package for the client's dual-elementary school project in Marion County. The proposal organized the team's approach to managing two simultaneous school sites into a clear, compelling narrative, supported by coordinated formatting and custom graphics. Renderings translated the prototype school design into images showing how each building would look and feel on its specific site. Animations gave selection panel members a dynamic, immersive sense of the project scope and design intent. A custom presentation brought all of these elements together for the final interview, and PRESWERX provided presentation coaching to sharpen the client team's delivery and prepare them for evaluator questions.

PRESWERX Approach

PRESWERX functioned as a strategic pursuit partner, focused on turning a complex, two-school program into a confident, unified submission. The approach centered on three priorities:

  • Building a proposal narrative that connected both school sites under one delivery story and positioned the client's dual-site experience as an asset

  • Producing renderings and animations that made the prototype design feel purposeful and place-specific for Marion County rather than generic

  • Coaching presenters to walk evaluators through the scope with clarity, confidence, and a command of project-specific detail

The result was a complete, coordinated pursuit package built to stand out in a competitive district selection process.

Results Delivered

PRESWERX produced a full complement of pursuit materials held to a high standard of visual clarity and strategic alignment with the district's selection criteria. Key deliverables included:

  • A proposal that reframed dual-site complexity as a demonstration of organizational capability, giving evaluators confidence in the client's ability to manage both projects in parallel

  • Renderings and animations that presented the prototype school design as site-specific and carefully considered for the Marion County program, not off-the-shelf

  • A presentation and coaching program that gave the client team a polished, practiced voice going into the selection panel interview

The client entered the selection process fully prepared, with a compelling story, strong visuals, and a team ready to perform.
