Project Overview

Liberty Park Stadium was a proposed multi-use stadium development for the City of Memphis, calling for demolition of the aging Mid-South Coliseum and construction of a new venue built to USL Stadium Development Guidelines. The project encompassed seating for 6,500 to 8,000 spectators, 10 to 15 private suites, a stadium club and banquet facility for up to 250 guests, and a natural grass playing field, all delivered through a Construction Manager at Risk approach carrying a target construction budget of $53.95 million. The scale and technical complexity of the pursuit required a clear, compelling story, and the client turned to PRESWERX to shape and present it.

Client Challenges

Pursuing a stadium of this scope demanded more than technical qualifications. It required a narrative that made a complex, multi-phase vision tangible to reviewers:

  • Translating a demolition-to-completion program into one cohesive story

  • Helping the selection committee visualize a stadium that did not yet exist

  • Standing out in a competitive CMAR selection process

  • Preparing the team to perform confidently in a live interview format

Together, these challenges called for a pursuit strategy built around clarity, visualization, and disciplined preparation.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX delivered a full pursuit package built around the technical and visual demands of the stadium project. The team wrote and produced the proposal narrative, translating the CMAR preconstruction and construction phase approach into a client-focused submission. PRESWERX developed the client's selection presentation and provided presentation coaching to prepare the team for a live interview before the City of Memphis review panel. To help reviewers see the finished venue, PRESWERX produced architectural renderings and animations depicting the stadium's seating bowl, suites, and stadium club, along with film content used to reinforce the pursuit's core messaging throughout the presentation.

PRESWERX Approach

With a stadium this complex, PRESWERX built a pursuit strategy centered on visual proof and rehearsed delivery.

  • Structured the proposal narrative around the stadium's phased demolition and construction timeline

  • Created renderings and animations that gave the review panel a concrete sense of the finished venue

  • Ran presentation coaching sessions to sharpen the team's delivery and answers to anticipated questions

The result was a pursuit package that paired a clear written narrative with a polished, confident live presentation.

Results Delivered

PRESWERX produced a complete set of pursuit materials held to a standard befitting a $53.95 million public stadium project.

  • The proposal gave reviewers a clear, organized account of the project's scope and delivery approach

  • The renderings and animations turned an unbuilt stadium into a visual reality for the selection committee

  • The coaching sessions left the client's team prepared and confident heading into the interview

The client entered the selection process with a polished, well-rehearsed case for their qualifications.
