Project Overview
Elbert Elementary School was a new school construction project for the Polk County School Board in Winter Haven, Florida, valued at $43,555,000. The project called for construction management services covering the full scope of building a new elementary school facility for the District. The client needed to compete in a rigorous public procurement process and demonstrate both technical competence and qualitative value to a non-technical school board audience. PRESWERX supported the pursuit with a comprehensive package including a proposal document, custom renderings, animations, a project film, a presentation, and hands-on coaching for the interview phase.

Client Challenges
Competing for a public school construction contract required the client to address several interconnected challenges:
Presenting a complex construction management scope as a single, coherent story for a school board audience with limited construction background
Visualizing the finished facility before construction began, to build evaluator confidence in the client's design vision
Differentiating a strong team in a competitive field of similarly qualified construction management firms
Preparing presenters to perform confidently and cohesively during a live selection interview
Together, these challenges called for a coordinated strategy across both the proposal and interview phases of the procurement.

Scope of Work
PRESWERX delivered a full pursuit package for the Elbert Elementary School procurement. The engagement began with a complete proposal document structured around the Polk County School Board's evaluation criteria, presenting the client's team qualifications, project approach, and management capabilities in a clear and compelling format. PRESWERX produced custom architectural renderings and animations to give evaluators a realistic picture of the finished school before construction began. A short-form project film reinforced the client's culture and commitment to the project. For the interview phase, PRESWERX developed a presentation and conducted targeted coaching sessions to prepare the team for the live selection event.

PRESWERX Approach
PRESWERX treated the pursuit as a two-phase challenge: advance the client through the proposal round, then equip the team to excel in front of the selection panel. Every deliverable was built around the school board's stated priorities and the client's specific strengths.
PRESWERX developed a proposal narrative that framed the client's construction management experience directly around the District's project goals and procurement requirements
Custom renderings, animations, and a project film translated the design vision into accessible, high-quality visuals calibrated for a non-technical evaluator audience
Coaching sessions worked through the presentation structure, anticipated panel questions, and refined each presenter's delivery for clarity and confidence
The combined effort produced a client team that was organized, well-rehearsed, and positioned to make a strong impression at every stage of the evaluation.
Results Delivered
PRESWERX produced a complete, polished pursuit package held to the standards of a competitive public school procurement. Every deliverable was built to perform across the full evaluation process.
The proposal document organized the client's qualifications and project approach in a format aligned to the school board's evaluation criteria, making the submission easy to assess and difficult to overlook
Renderings, animations, and the project film gave evaluators a clear, compelling picture of the finished school, strengthening the client's visual story across both the proposal and interview phases
Coaching sessions sharpened each presenter's delivery, aligned the team on key messages, and prepared the group to handle panel questions with confidence and clarity
Going into the selection event, the client's team was fully prepared: their materials were polished, their story was clear, and their presenters were ready.
