Project Overview

The "OOO" High School (West Zone) was a $150 million construction management pursuit in Cape Coral, Florida, undertaken for the School Board of Lee County. The new campus was designed to serve 2,948 student stations with a Florida Inventory of School Houses capacity of 2,800, making it one of the most consequential public school construction efforts in the region. The project introduced a new high school concept built to address site demands, current building codes, and district-driven design changes, with substantial completion targeted for July 2027. PRESWERX supported the client's pursuit team with proposal development, presentation design, and presentation coaching.

Client Challenges

The client faced a highly competitive pursuit for a complex, large-scale school construction contract. Communicating scope, credibility, and approach to a public selection panel required a coordinated strategy across every pursuit touchpoint:

  • Conveying the scale of a 2,948-student-station facility in terms a non-technical selection panel could evaluate

  • Differentiating the client's construction management approach in a competitive field of qualified firms

  • Translating a new high school concept and district-specific design requirements into a compelling pursuit narrative

  • Preparing the team to deliver a confident, cohesive live selection presentation

Together, these challenges demanded a pursuit package that was technically credible, visually clear, and well-rehearsed.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX developed a full pursuit package for the client's construction management bid on the "OOO" High School project. The scope included proposal writing tailored to the School Board of Lee County's evaluation criteria, with content that clearly articulated the client's qualifications and construction management approach for a $150 million public school campus. PRESWERX also designed a selection presentation that organized the project's scale, design complexity, and phasing into a clear, panel-ready visual story. Presentation coaching prepared the client's team to deliver the narrative with consistency, confidence, and strong command of the material.

PRESWERX Approach

PRESWERX treated this pursuit as a single integrated effort, building the proposal, presentation, and coaching around one unified message rather than as disconnected deliverables. Each element was calibrated to speak directly to the School Board's priorities and the specific demands of the project:

  • Wrote proposal content that positioned the client's construction management experience against the requirements of a large, new-construction Florida public school

  • Designed a presentation that turned complex program and site information into a clear visual sequence for the panel

  • Coached presenters on pacing, message emphasis, and panel engagement to build team confidence ahead of the live interview

The result was a team that entered the selection room prepared, aligned, and telling a coherent story.

Results Delivered

PRESWERX delivered a complete pursuit package built to the standard of a highly competitive public school construction selection. Each deliverable served a defined purpose in the client's overall pursuit strategy:

  • The proposal communicated qualifications and construction management approach in clear, evaluator-friendly language aligned to the scoring criteria

  • The presentation gave the panel an organized, visual account of the client's plan for managing a complex, $150 million, 2,948-student-station campus

  • Coaching sessions built individual presenter confidence and team cohesion, ensuring a consistent and credible story through the live interview

The client entered the selection ready to make a strong, well-prepared case for one of Lee County's most significant school construction projects.
