Project Overview

The client pursued the replacement of two Clark County School District elementary schools in Las Vegas, Nevada: Helen Smith Elementary on the northwest side of the city and Cyril Wengert Elementary on the east side. Each campus required the construction of a new 82,000-square-foot facility on the existing school site, with abatement, demolition of existing buildings, and complete site restoration to follow. Combined, the two projects totaled $34,531,700. Replacing two active schools simultaneously created a demanding communication challenge for the pursuit. PRESWERX supported the client with a full pursuit package including proposal development, visual content, and presentation coaching.

Client Challenges

Replacing two schools simultaneously under a single public procurement created layered pursuit demands for the client's team:

  • Presenting a dual-campus, technically complex scope as a single, coherent story to a district audience

  • Visualizing finished design quality and site organization on two active campuses before construction began

  • Differentiating the team in a competitive public education bid

  • Preparing presenters for a confident, polished live interview

Each challenge pointed to the same need: pursuit materials that were specific, visual, and cohesive across both sites.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX developed a comprehensive pursuit package spanning both campuses. The team authored the written proposal, shaping the narrative to communicate scope complexity and team qualifications to a district audience. Architectural renderings visualized each new 82,000-square-foot facility in context, giving reviewers a concrete sense of design quality and site organization. Animations illustrated the phasing and logistics of building on occupied school grounds, making the construction approach tangible and easy to follow. A pursuit film tied the full story together across both sites, and PRESWERX provided hands-on presentation coaching to prepare the client's team for the live selection interview.

PRESWERX Approach

PRESWERX framed the dual-campus scope as a display of depth, building a strategy that turned complexity into a competitive advantage:

  • Structured the proposal narrative around district priorities, connecting the client's credentials to community impact on both sites

  • Produced site-specific renderings, animations, and film so reviewers could picture each campus distinctly

  • Coached the presenting team through rehearsals modeled on the actual interview format

The result was a pursuit package that made a two-site, technically demanding bid feel clear and well-commanded.

Results Delivered

PRESWERX delivered a pursuit package built to carry the complexity of two simultaneous school replacements:

  • A proposal that translated a dual-campus, technically dense scope into a community-focused district narrative

  • Renderings, animations, and a film that gave reviewers a vivid, site-specific picture of each finished campus

  • Presentation coaching that sharpened delivery and built genuine confidence ahead of the live interview

The client entered the selection prepared with materials that were precise, compelling, and built to represent two communities.
