Project Overview
The City of La Porte undertook construction of a new two-story City Hall in La Porte, Texas, replacing a facility originally built in 1978. The new building consolidated all departments with daily public interaction, including Planning, the Fire Marshal's office, Utility Billing, Finance, and City Council Chambers, into a single ground-level facility. The second floor housed executive leadership, administrative offices, and shared collaboration spaces, including a multi-purpose conference and training room, a centralized employee break room, and a covered outdoor patio. The client engaged PRESWERX to support the competitive pursuit with proposal development, presentation design, coaching, renderings, animations, and film production.
Client Challenges
The client faced several challenges in presenting a complex civic project compellingly during competitive selection:
Communicating a multifaceted two-story program spanning public service counters, council chambers, and executive offices as a single cohesive story
Visualizing a purpose-built civic facility that did not yet exist, conveying design quality and user experience before groundbreaking

Scope of Work
