Project Overview

The Aero-Flite Facility and Hangar Project in Spokane, Washington delivered a new 91,200 square foot aviation facility at Spokane International Airport for Aero-Flite Inc., an aerial firefighting company providing air tanker services to federal and state wildfire management agencies. The $32,750,000 facility is a mixed-occupancy structure housing aircraft maintenance, storage, and administrative functions, supporting the operational readiness of a critical emergency response fleet. The project gave AeroFlite dedicated, purpose-built infrastructure at a major regional airport in direct support of its wildfire suppression mission. The client engaged PRESWERX to develop a presentation and provide coaching in support of the competitive pursuit.

Client Challenges

The client needed a presentation that could carry both a construction case and the mission-driven context of an aerial firefighting operation:

  • A mixed-occupancy hangar for maintenance, storage, and administration required a structure that communicated the operational logic of a purpose-built aviation facility.

  • A facility supporting federal wildfire response required the team to speak credibly to the mission-critical nature of the owner's operations.

  • A $32.75M airport project required a presentation and delivery that matched the standards of a specialized emergency service environment.

Together, these called for a package built for a mission-driven aviation pursuit at a commercial airport.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX developed a presentation and provided coaching for the Aero-Flite Facility and Hangar Project in Spokane, Washington. The presentation was built to communicate both the construction scope of a 91,200 square foot mixed-use aviation facility and the mission-critical context of an operator providing aerial firefighting services to federal and state agencies. The presentation connected the facility design, including its maintenance bays, storage areas, and administrative spaces, to the operational readiness needs of the owner's wildfire response fleet. PRESWERX then provided coaching to prepare the team to deliver that case confidently in a competitive aviation project environment.

PRESWERX Approach

PRESWERX built the package around one challenge: making a construction case that understood the mission behind the building.

  • Developed a presentation that communicated the operational logic of a purposebuilt aviation facility, from maintenance bays and storage to administrative support.

  • Connected the facility design to the owner's wildfire response mission, grounding the construction approach in the emergency service function it would support.

  • Provided coaching that prepared the team to speak to both the aviation facility requirements and the mission-critical nature of the owner's operations.

The result was a team prepared to make a credible, mission-aware case for a specialized aviation facility.

Results Delivered

PRESWERX delivered a presentation and coaching package built for a mission-driven aviation pursuit.

  • The presentation communicated the operational logic of a 91,200 square foot aviation facility in a way that matched the owner's emergency service mission.

  • Coaching prepared the team to speak with confidence to the construction complexity and mission-critical context of a federal wildfire response facility.

  • The combined package gave the client a pursuit-ready approach that matched both the construction scope and the specialized nature of the engagement.

The client entered the Spokane International Airport selection ready to make the case for a purpose-built aviation facility.
