Project Overview
Sarasota County pursued a $65 million regional park along 17th Street in north Sarasota, Florida, a major component of the North County Athletic Facilities Master Plan. The 114-acre site encompassed the Miss Sarasota Softball Complex, the existing 17th Street Park, adjacent county utility property, and connectivity with public lands including Circus Hammock, with the potential to expand by an additional 45 acres. The full build-out was planned as a phased program. PRESWERX supported the client's pursuit with presentation development, presentation coaching, renderings, and animations that brought the park's scale and vision to life for the County's selection panel.

Client Challenges
The client needed to communicate a compelling vision for a large-scale, multicomponent regional park to a county owner managing a complex, phased program within a broader athletic facilities master plan:
Presenting a coherent design and construction approach for a 114-acre site with multiple existing facilities, potential acreage expansion, and connectivity to adjacent public properties.
Visualizing a park planned for phased delivery, requiring pursuit materials that conveyed the full long-term vision while also addressing near-term scope and sequencing.
Preparing the team for a live presentation to Sarasota County officials evaluating construction partners for a high-profile, community-facing investment.
The client needed pursuit materials and coaching that captured the scope and ambition of a major regional park without losing clarity on how the project would actually get built.

Scope of Work
PRESWERX developed a full pursuit package for the client's pursuit of the $65 million 17th Street Regional Park. The work included a custom presentation structured around the park's phased build-out and the client's approach to delivering a multi-component public facility. Renderings visualized the park's key program elements across the 114- acre site, giving the County a concrete picture of the finished destination. Animations brought the park's scale and connectivity to life, conveying how the various components would work together as a unified regional amenity. Presentation coaching prepared the team for the live selection interview with Sarasota County.

PRESWERX Approach
PRESWERX approached the pursuit around the challenge of making a large, phased, multi-component park feel coherent and achievable rather than sprawling and undefined.
Developed renderings that communicated the park's program elements, including the softball complex, open parkland, and connections to adjacent public properties, as a unified, well-considered site.
Produced animations that conveyed the scale and vitality of the finished park, helping County officials visualize the community destination the project was designed to create.
Structured the presentation and coached the team to address the County's priorities directly, including phasing strategy, site integration, and the park's role within the North County Athletic Facilities Master Plan.
The result was a pursuit package and a prepared team that positioned the client as a partner who understood both the complexity and the community significance of the project.
Results Delivered
PRESWERX delivered a complete pursuit package that gave the client a polished presentation, strong visuals, and a prepared team for the Sarasota County selection.
Renderings established the park's character and program across the full site, giving the County confidence in the client's ability to envision and deliver a destination-quality regional facility.
Animations conveyed the park's energy and connectivity in motion, making the scale of the 114-acre development accessible and compelling to a public owner audience.
Presentation coaching prepared the team to speak with clarity and confidence on phasing, site strategy, and the park's place within the County's broader athletic facilities investment.
The client entered the Sarasota County selection process with a complete, professionally produced pursuit package that reflected the scale and community significance of the 17th Street Regional Park.
